The paddock is like organised chaos, kids, mini motos, dogs, supermotos, quads and 2 english people walking around lost. This massive track was once a road race circuit but now it is much smaller and only a small part of the highway is used.

Mid summer supermoto racing
Spectators get up close and personal
The paddock is always open to the spectators which gives a friendly atmosphere to the whole day. It's great when people stop and talk and take photos of your race machine. It makes you feel like you actually are a part of something that others are in awe of.

June 24th, 2006 24/06/2006 Lydden Hill MotoGB
Rd 2 British Supermoto Championship

Lydden Hill is a great circuit as spectators can see the entire track and the riders love the fast flowing corners. Not too much travelling for the team as it's only 3 hours from home.

Abram racing on S1 circuit
The weather is dry and sunny but as always at Lydd very windy!
This circuit is like a split track. With a twisty tarmac section and a rather large twisty and jump filled motox dirt section. It always makes for good spectating.Today Carl will be racing in SM1 which is 250cc to 700cc engine whereas he normally rides in SM2 class up to 450cc.Carl had entered in for clubman class today but unfortunately ther wasn't enough entrants and SM2 was full so he is being mixed into another class(SM1).

Sliding at Lydden

Well rain has been forcast but it's dry for the moment.Grid positions are determined by the amount of points that each rider has in the current championship, which seems a little unfair especially if you haven't competed in any meetings this year so far.Carl has only been to Lydd with SSM which gives him enough points to put hil 24th on the grid.

Race day
Superbiker 2005
Well after watching the freestyle motox last night and chilling out in the bar for a while we had to get to bed at a reasonable hour ready for race day.The stands will be jam packed today and every nook and cranny will have been taken up by spectators trying to get a glimpse of the superbiker competitors.

Abram racing head up north

Well as is usual it rained all night and it isn't too warm. The wind is howling across the open circuit and there is no shelter at all.Rain hasn't been forcast for today but the weather doesn't look as though it is going to brighten up that much.

October 1st, 2005 01/10/2005 Cadwell NORA 450
Final 450 race of the 2005 season!

This Lincolnshire circuit is one of Carl's favourites, rain or shine. In fact it usually rains here in october!Carl and Alfie walk the track in the morning and discover that small parts of the tarmac have been painted green to look like grass.Mmmm that should make things interesting as it is slippery as hell.

August 20th, 2005 20/08/2005 Lydd international raceway NORA 450
Carl wipes out in practise!
NORA heads to S1 track
Lydd isn't too far from home,a couple of hours seems near considering the distance we normally cover in a race weekend . Here in Kent there isn't the smell of maggots as with sunny Blyton or the freezing winds of Topcliffe but there is a fantastic view of a power station which makes you feel like you are in Springfield! DOH!!!

Sliding at the rock
Car park or supermoto track?
When you pull into Rockingham and see the grandstand you think wow, this is going to be great. What you don't realise is that the description of the purpose built track is not quite as it appears. Not one shred of rubber is going to be left on the Rockingham circuit by a supermoto as the race is being held in the carpark. Not quite sure what has happened but we are here now so lets make the most it.

The track has changed this time around so the riders are being allowed an extra lap during their practise/qualifying session. The weather is sunny but the clouds are always looming and the temperature can drop really quickly.
